Economic Diplomacy
Economic globalization has made economic diplomacy a significant factor in most countries’ foreign policies. The Centre has often been involved in negotiating key economic and trade issues, from a position of understanding and strength, in an effort to promote and protect Tanzania’s economic interests overseas.

Market developments have been rigorously monitored, and feedback sent home for action and follow-up purposes. The Centre represents Tanzania in a number of International Organizations who are headquartered in UK. These include International Coffee Organisation (ICO), International Maritime Organisation (IMO), International Mobile Satellite Organisation (INMARSAT), Commonwealth Agricultural Bureau International (CABI) International Sugar Organisation (ISO), Inter- African Association of Coffee Producers and London Sisal Association (LSA).
The Centre is also a member of various business related Associations and organizations such as London Chamber of Commerce, Tanzania-UK Business Group and Britain -Tanzania Society (BTS)
